 about a week after Baby Besra was born and had settled into a comfy routine. hehe.. better late than never right! <br /><br />a few problems have cropped up which is making recording a bit more difficult than i first anticipated.. the main one being i have not one, but TWO cd-RW drives and NO DVD-RW drive at all which i THOUGHT i had.. come to think of it.. when we were out buying the CD-RW USB drive i said to myself, why would i need a DVD-RW for.. it's not like i'm going to burn my own dvds right... SO SO WRONG. haha.. ah well.. maybe Besra's godmum Luvy will find it in her heart to buy her a DVD-RW drive, hahahaha.. that's why godma's are for right?! Either that or we save our pennies and get it soonish. <br /><br />anyway.. guess what today is... 5th Nov 2006... exactly a year has passed... it's our 1st anniversary.. we are having an extremely low-key celebration if you can call it a celebration. guess none of us anticipated that we'd have a baby in our arms so soon.. esp not by the first anniversary.. but it's all good and i wouldnt change things even if i could! spent most of the morning pottering about the apartment.. and about 1pm.. we shot a video of Besra's 2nd bath! hehe.. i'd given her her first bath yesterday as a practice run, and today she was ready for showtime! will place a link for that when i figure out the rest of this YouTube.Com thingy. <br /><br />Besra's doing very well.. the slight tinge of jaundice doesnt seem threatening at the moment, but we are keeping a watchful eye out for any further development as premature babies are at risk the whole of the first month. Fingers crossed. Besra gets up to feed every 2-3 hours.. cries a little but no tears and i read tears dont come into the picture till the end of the first month. not sure why but seems harmless enough. she does what babies do.. wee-wee and poo-poo.. all good stuff you know! only a mother finds pleasure in her baby successfully executing bladder and bowel movements! haha .. and the joys of a big ol burp is really really satisfying! so all is good and well.. soon she will be big and strong and we chinese have this thing called a Full Moon party when the child turns 1 month old. So lil Besra will have her full moon party at Langkah Syabas on the 25th of Nov and another one thrown by her grandma at her grandma's house on the 28th to coincide with my birthday... weeeeeeeeeeeeee! we like parties! you can bet that the dvd cam will be whirring and digital camera will be snapping away so look out for them in future blogs ok. <br /><br />hugs n kisses to all who took the time to visit our blog.. read about my exciting birthing and send all those nice sms-es and emails. i'm sure besra will appreciated it all when she's old enough to take it all in. dont worry.. i'm keeping records! again, hugs to all and hopefully u can view the youtube link without too much hassle.
